Bergerac quayside and town centre

Nourish Ourselves Retreats take place between the towns of Bergerac and Eymet in the Dordogne region of southwest France, a landscape known for its vineyards, quiet villages, and slow rhythm of life.

 Nearby towns and villages

If you feel like exploring, several beautiful towns are within easy reach of the farmhouse, including Bergerac, Eymet, Sigoulès and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande.  A visit to one of these towns is included in your retreat if you do wish to explore the area,

These charming towns offer cafés, small shops and traditional French markets where you can wander among stalls filled with fresh produce, cheeses, bread and flowers.

A morning market visit followed by coffee in a village square is one of the simple pleasures of this region.

Dining Out

While some meals are enjoyed together at the farmhouse, there is also the option to visit local cafés and restaurants nearby.

From relaxed village bistros to lively terraces in Bergerac, the area offers many lovely places to enjoy a meal and experience the food and wine culture of south-west France.

Returning afterwards to the quiet of the countryside makes the experience even more special.

A balance of rest and gentle discovery

This part of the Dordogne offers the perfect balance between peaceful retreat and light exploration.

You can spend your days resting in the calm of the vineyards, or occasionally venture out to enjoy markets, cafés and local villages.

Both belong naturally to the rhythm of the retreat.

And at the end of the day, the quiet of the farmhouse will be waiting for you.
