Restoring Balance
Gentle Healing Modalities
Supporting your natural process of restoration
During your retreat there is space not only for rest and reflection, but also for gentle practices that can support emotional release and deeper relaxation.
Over the years I have explored and studied a number of healing approaches as part of my own personal journey, including kinesiology and other mind–body practices. Through this experience I have discovered simple techniques that can help the body and nervous system release stress and restore balance.
These practices are offered in a gentle, supportive way during the retreat for guests who feel drawn to them.
They are always optional, and the most important part of the retreat remains rest, simplicity and being in nature.

EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is a gentle technique sometimes known as “tapping”.
It involves lightly tapping specific points on the body while bringing awareness to thoughts or emotions that may be creating stress or tension.
Many people find that EFT can help calm the nervous system, release emotional pressure and create a sense of greater ease and clarity.
During the retreat, EFT may be introduced as a simple tool that you can use to support yourself when difficult emotions arise or when you would like to feel more centred and relaxed.
Fascia Release
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles throughout the body.
When we experience stress or emotional strain, the body can hold tension within this tissue.
Gentle fascia release techniques involve slow movements and subtle pressure that help the body soften and unwind.
Guests often experience a feeling of physical lightness and relaxation as the body begins to release held tension.
TRE (Trauma Release Exercises)
TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) is a series of simple movements designed to allow the body to release deep stress and tension through natural shaking or trembling.
This response is a natural way the body restores balance after stress.
Many people find that TRE can help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety and bring a deep sense of relaxation.
If appropriate, this technique may be gently introduced during the retreat so you can experience how the body naturally releases held tension.
